On February 22 a group of the NK'Mip Snowbirds walked 25 minutes
to the Senora Centre to attend the Saskatchewan Snowbird Breakfast
Curtsy statement from the volunteer committee of the breakfast:
Oyosoos has become the winter 'home
away from home' for many Saskatchewan snowbirds. The warm welcome received from
businesses and the community at large is much appreciated by the
prairie flatlanders. Saskatchewan snowbirds reciprocate, in
part, by collectively spending approximately $1,000,000 in the south
Okanagan during the winter holiday period. The 260 Saskatchewan snowbirds, who gathered February 22nd at Sonora Community Centre for the annual Saskatchewan snowbird breakfasts, extended a sincere 'Thank You' to the many merchants who contributed the door prizes.
The grand winner of the 50-50 draw.
