Visit to Ontario

I accompanied my daughter, Lynne, and granddaughter, Nikki, to Ontario this past week. My son, Mark, was available to pick us up in Hamilton and drive us to Toronto. Nikki was taking part in the National Volley Ball Tournament there.  While Nikki joined her team mates in the Hilton Hotel down town, Lynne stayed in an Air B&B not far way. Lynne and Nikki had never been in Toronto before so Mark gave us a tour. Stopped for lunch at Brazen Head Pub within walking distance.

I spent 5 lovely days at Mark and Svava's new home near Hagarville, south of Hamilton.  They just purchased this quaint house with an century-old barn and silos. They are in the process of renovating the house and an art studio and landscaping the yard.

Fall Gratitude

It has been a while since I posted on this blog. Today I am very grateful for all I have and feel. I went for a morning walk down town Osoyoos. It was a  foggy morning  but calm and as the sun started to push out the fog everything to brightened everything up.

I always take my Nikken water bottle.

When I returned back to NK'Mip RV Park I was ready to decorate my site for the Fall season. The temperatures were pleasant enough to sit out side to eat my lunch.

To top off the day was the Saskatchewan Rider's win over the BC Lions 36 to 16
How can it get any better than that!!!!

My Family Reunion

My children got together over the September Long Weekend in Calgary to celebrate my 80th birthday. We had not been together since 2005 so it was very special for us. It was energizing and exciting to interact on this level. My appreciation and love goes out to Lynne, Mark and Leon for all what they have accomplished and the interest they showed towards each other. We tasted many different foods, took walks and saw different place. All these pictures were taken by Randal Martin of Studio eh Design He is always the man behind the camera!!!

Walking Companion

During the past few days it was a pleasure to have visitor who was staying at Spirit Ridge Resort near NK'Mip RV Park, Osoyoos, BC.  Loren Dae (nee Creswell) was on a nursing assignment with a young family.  After her night shift ended at 8:00 am she joined me on a walk around the area.

Osoyoos Women's Network

Over the past 8 months a group of dedicated women in Osoyoos have been forming this new organization. We are pleased with the effect it has with the ladies who show up at the monthly events.

I had the privilege to hold an Evening Mixer on July 17 at my home, Wellness On Wheels, in NK'Mip Resort.

The presentation was "Living Your Life In Balance with a purpose"  and with the importance of  "Summer-time Hydration, Why Our Body Needs Water". This all fits into the Nikken, Active Wellness Company' mission and products.

In spite of the very warm evening with temperatures at 40C is was a well received evening.

Bite and Bites on Main Street, Osoyoos cater the food.
