Air View Of South Okanagan

Every Year Snow Birds from across Canada come to spend their winter in Osoyoos BC. In March a breakfasts is held for each different province. They are filled to capacity with 200 participants. Door prizes are given out and there is a 50/50 draw. It is great to meet people from your home province.

At the Manitoba Breakfast one of the door prizes was a  plane ride over the Okanagan Valley by Ken  Pierce from Minolta, MB in his 1979 Cessna.

Thanks to Vickie McAllister, the winner, who asked Valerie McRae and I to be her guests on the 45 minute flight. It was a good day as it was sunny with only a few clouds.

At 3:00 pm we all met at the Osoyoos Air Strip on Highway 3 west of the town

While we were up enjoying the view, John McRae, Len McAllister and Randal waited at the Osoyoos air strip. They watched as we boarded the Cessna.

While I was busy taking pictures and a video Ken took us over Osoyoos, Oliver Area 27 Race Track, the vineyards and  orchards and as far as OK Fall.

Valentine Day

While I was away for four days in Calgary  Going To Calgary  Randal was beside himself. During our nightly phone calls he reported that he made the bed, washed the dishes and made good meals for himself. He had to report all his activities during his alone days!

When I returned he was the only holding a Happy Valentine Days balloon and a red rose.one waiting in the Penticton Airport  I am sure that the others who were also waiting thought that he was meeting a younger lady instead of more senior one!

Access Consciousness Class

Over the past weekend I attended an Access Consciousness  Foundation Class. It  was  facilitated by Fay Thompson

Lorraine, Kellie, Fay, Lynne and Norma
It was small but vibrant group who spent four days together. We discussed the benefits of energy-flow through the many topics, preformed exercises, share experiences and laughed.

I am most grateful to be a little closer to my siblings and their families who live at the coast. We did have a few visitors.  As for my children I am still a distance away so will have to work that one. Thank goodness there is the  internet!!
